Prostate cancer is the cause of death of over a thousand men in Austria every year. Since this cancer has no symptoms, early detection is particularly important. In many cases, timely treatment can save lives.
During Prostate Cancer Awareness Month in November, Casinos Austria is once again seen as a reliable partner of Austrian Cancer Aid and is contributing a unique football table for a charity auction: ten celebrities signed this football table during the “Casino Cup – The Great Ball-In Show” presented by Casinos Austria, which will be streamed on ZAPPN.
So if you’re a table football fan and would like to get your hands on a unique football table signed by football stars Andi Ogris and Robert Almer, Stefan Maierhofer and Lisa Marie Makas, ex-ski star and singer Lizz Görgl, cabaret artists Nina Hartmann and Paulus von Dr. Bohl, actress Monica Weinzettl and musicians Virginia Ernst and Marco Angelini, you can take part in the charity auction at www.aurena.at from now until November 25, 2022.
Dieter Türmer, Marketing & Customer Management Casinos Austria, had this to say about the company’s commitment: “For over 50 years, it’s been part of our corporate DNA to assume what we consider our socio-political responsibility in Austria. That’s why we’re happy to provide Cancer Aid with this unique football table for the “Loose Tie” campaign to remind even more men that there should still be room in their schedule for their own health care, in addition to family, work & hobbies.”
Martina Löwe, Managing Director of Austrian Cancer Aid and responsible for the Loose Tie campaign, added: “I’m very happy to see this great level of support from Casinos Austria, and I’m sure that we will reach many men through their interest football and table football.”
Ever since Casinos Austria was founded, it has been a matter of course for the company to be committed above all to humanitarian and social causes in and for Austria. With the “Pink Casinos Night” in aid of “Pink Ribbon” on October 13, 2022, Casinos Austria has already donated a total of 10,000 euros for breast cancer patients this year. That’s why supporting the “Loose Tie” action as a counterpart for men is a matter of course.
