PLAYER PROTECTION

The European Casino Association (ECA) is committed to responsible gaming and to resolutely combatting illegal gambling. It calls for appropriate preventive measures and the expansion of information and training measures. The standards set for responsible gaming enable members to incorporate player protection into their daily operations in a measurable and structured manner, as an integral element of their business practices.

In 2014, Casinos Austria was the first company in the world to be certified for its Responsible Gaming System under ECA standards. In 2020, our excellent level of player protection was once again confirmed by the independent Austrian Standards Institute as part of the re-certification process. This certification is again valid for three years. Eight sub-areas were intensively audited, including, in particular, the training of staff on the issue of responsible gaming, responsible advertising and information for casino guests.

Annual certification under the international data protection quality seal GoodPriva@cy confirms Casinos Austria’s strict data protection policy and supports its continuous improvement.

Casinos Austria is the world’s first and only gaming industry company to provide proof of full compliance with the requirements of GoodPriv@cy 2018.

Casinos Austria's quality management system is certified in accordance with the international EN ISO 9001:2008 standard and is audited annually by the external auditors of the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS).

The current certification is valid from 30.06.2022 to 29.06.2025.

The Pro-Ethik seal of the Austrian Advertising Council stands for compliance by companies who advertise with ethical principles for all of their advertising measures.

Based on the Code of Ethics of the Austrian Advertising Industry, companies undertake to comply with quality criteria in the realm of “Ethics & Morals” which have been prepared jointly by the advertising industry and which go beyond the legal requirements applicable to this area.

The Pro-Ethik seal aims to increase awareness of the jointly established ethical rules for the advertising industry and thus to strengthen self-regulation and the freedom of advertising. At the same time, it deepens the public’s trust in companies, provides guidance for customers and thus creates a competitive advantage for participating companies.

Casinos Austria has held Pro-Ethik seal certification since 6.11.2012. The current certification is valid until 16.12.2024.

LEITBETRIEBE AUSTRIA CERTIFICATE

Following a company analysis conducted by the Leitbetriebe Austria Institute on the basis of quantitative and qualitative criteria, Casinos Austria was once again awarded the distinction of being a leading company (Leitbetrieb) in the Austrian economy for 2022/23. Recertification takes place every 24 months through a new assessment. Casinos Austria was first certified by the Leitbetriebe Austria Institute in 2014.
